Most of the major cement manufacturers have increased blended cement production from 43 % to 70 % in the last four years.  It is a commendable effort of cement manufacturers in terms of conservation of natural resource of raw materials and improving the environment.  There has been a marginal improvement in the consumption of blending materials from 18 to 26 %.
